I enjoy watching people transform from their first visit to their last. Watching patients become happier and more confident is incredible and I’m thrilled to work in a practice where it happens all the time! I greet and check patients in and out, schedule visits, and answer the phones. I also send appointment reminders, manage our appointment template, and keep everything flowing smoothly.
My time off is spent outdoors, often with my 100-pound dog. I enjoy hiking the Hudson Valley and going to the beach. I also like volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, working with children, and cheering for Giants football!
I like getting to meet so many different and amazing people while doing my job of checking people in and out, answering phones, and keeping on top of all the patient charts.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and family. You can usually find me checking out the latest movie or out shopping somewhere.
It’s fun to meet our patients and new families as they’re starting their orthodontic journey. I love their excitement at the thought of getting a new smile and am excited for them! I verify insurance handle our billing and collections. I also handle our practice credentialing and help with scheduling. Working directly with patients and families, I present the treatment plans and review finances so everyone is able to make informed decisions about care.
My interests, outside of work, include music and the arts, attending Broadway shows, and working with seniors in our community. I enjoy science and anatomy and love our Beta fish, Gil.
My favorite moments are when a patient finishes treatment. They look at their “before” photos and then look in the mirror at their new smile and they can’t stop grinning and laughing! They are so happy with all they’ve accomplished and I know they’re going to have a happier life as a result of treatment. I work in our clinic area, assisting the doctors as they care for patients. We have a great team here. We’re like a big family and our patients are part of it!
I love being part of a great team and working with such caring doctors. Here, we help change the way people feel about themselves by giving them a beautiful, healthy smile! It’s incredible to see patients’ self-esteem blossom and how much their confidence grows as they see the changes! I seat patients, assist the doctors with various procedures, and change donuts and wires.
In my spare time, I love hiking and camping, gardening projects, reading, and solving jigsaw puzzles.
I enjoy talking with patients, sharing in their lives and trading jokes. It’s very fulfilling to work in such a positive, happy environment where we help people make lasting changes in their lives! Watching my friends develop great smiles is the best experience and it’s what I do all day! I work alongside the doctors, assisting with procedures, including placing and removing appliances and braces and updating records.
When not working, I enjoy serving our community through my church. Family time is important to me: I have five grown children who are my pride and joy and four beautiful grandsons, too.
We have the most wonderful families in our practice. I love seeing them grow and watching patients change during treatment. Their expressions and true happiness when they get their braces off is priceless! I sterilize instrument and disinfect all dental surfaces in our clinic. I also assist our doctors and the assistants with X-rays, scheduling, and records.
During my free time I enjoy shopping, exploring local restaurants, and boating adventures.
I love working and living in the same community. It’s fun to run into our patients and their friends and families outside the office and see them enjoying their new smiles! I create and manage our advertising programs, set-up our community outreach and education events, and handle fundraisers. I also arrange our fun office games and contests and oversee the practice’s wooden nickel and referral programs.
Outside of work I’m a very busy mother to an amazing young son and two adorable kitties. I’m currently completing my Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, too!
